Energy Solutions International welcomes new CEO TengBeng Koid
Experienced energy sector executive to lead growing Houston-based software company
Houston, TX., January 3, 2012 — Energy Solutions International, Inc. (“ESI”), a leading provider of oil and gas pipeline management software and services, today announced the appointment of TengBeng Koid as the new Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Koid replaces Dr. Jo Webber, who will continue as member of the Board of Directors.

He is an exceptionally talented executive with many years of experience and an impressive track record of success in our industry and I am very pleased that he has decided to join and lead the ESI team.”
Prior to joining ESI, Mr. Koid was President, International for SMT, Inc., the market leader for geoscience software. . Before joining SMT, Mr. Koid served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at ION Geophysical Corporation. Prior to ION, Mr. Koid worked for Landmark Graphics Corporation, a software and services subsidiary of Halliburton Company, in various roles including Vice President/General Manager of Asia Pacific Operations, Vice President of Global Business Development and Vice President of Asset Performance Consulting. Before Landmark, Mr. Koid was a Senior Manager at IBM specializing in the oil and gas industry.
