A Quick Update
Very busy period at CommodityPoint with numerous projects on going right now. I guess the summer must be officially over now? Right now, other than client work, we are working on the following;
1. Update for the CommodityPoint CTRM Sourcebook – vendor updates are trickling in and at least 5 new listings will be included for vendors such as Pioneer Solutions, EnCompass Technologies, TransGraph, and others expanding the total number of products listed to over 40 in the next edition. If you are a CTRM vendor and want to be included then do download the questions from the CommodityPoint Sourcebook page.
2. The CommodityPoint Sourcebook – Ancillary Products – Mark Tredway is busy contacting many vendors in areas like data management, risk analytics, online trading and so on to notify them about this second CommodityPoint Sourcebook. We already have submissions from around 20 vendors so I think this one will also be a successful offering. You can find the questions at the same page as above if you wish to submit a listing.
3. The Non-energy vendor perception study survey – this has been slow going over the summer in terms of collecting responses with many folks away on vacation. Now we will be pushing to complete the survey so we can get this report completed in the Fall. If you are a user of CTRM software for non-energy commodities please do complete the survey and help us out!
4. The data management study is also underway and so far has enjoyed an excellent participation rate… it may well be completed before the non-energy study! Again, if you are and end user and want to tell us a bit about your data management solution – planned or installed – please do complete our survey.
