E-World

Posted by Gary M. Vasey On February - 15 - 2010

I hadn’t been to E-World for a couple of years but it is a vibrant and extremely well attended trade show. We met up with a number of CTRM vendors there including; Navita, SolArc, GSML, Murex, OLF/IRM, Contigo, Abacus Solutions, Triple Point, and others. E-World is a broad show that covers everything from trading and risk management to smart grid and more than 500 exhibitors but it seemed that most of the CTRM vendors were pleased with the interest that they were receiving.

Unlike the last time I visited when I came across a number of new vendors in the space, we didn’t find any new offerings but a more consolidated presence following the recent round of acquisitions. Despite that, this was a good use of time and we learned a good deal from the vendors exhibiting and the meetings we set up with those that were not exhibiting. For European trading & risk management, this is a must be at tradeshow.
